Head to Head Ministries, Incorporated (formerly The Lamb's In Mission 1989 - 1999) was founded in 2000 by Paul A. Webb and his wife Mary Lou Webb. The original objectives of this ministry have been, from its inception, to fulfill the purposes of the "Great Commission" through whatever means were available by God's grace, which includes public speaking, workshops, counseling, and publishing articles, stories, music (sheet music, books, and audio formats), and videos. To date, the published materials of this ministry have been read in all fifty states, in 65 countries and around the world on six continents. ABOUT US
He is called and chosen by God for a time like this technological age. From a small child Paul loved electronics and felt comfortable exploring all the new technology that was around him. Years later, when he turned thirteen years of age, he became a licensed amateur (ham) radio operator. He has held his license since 1963 to date. Still a big advocate in the communication arena, he mastered the communication in the realm of the internet. God knew He would use Paul in this age to reach millions of people with brain injury for Him. He placed a compassion for the underdog in Paul's heart. At a young age he extended help to many of his classmates in need. God met Paul on a mountain in Pennsylvania when he was fifteen years old and invited him to be His child. Paul became born again and received His call to pursue a Christian ministry. Brilliant and multi-talented would be the way one would have described Paul. Classmates called him professor. God knew for Paul to be a useful tool in His hand, He would have to put a thorn in his flesh, so he could and would have compassion and empathy for others in need. So God allowed his body to be weakened by a brain injury suffered while on active duty in the U. S. Navy and the debilitating and degenerative effects of schizophrenia, which he was born with. He also deals with an acute case of diabetes. All of this disease and weakness is so that Paul could boast as Paul the Apostle, that when I am weak, I am strong ... strong when walking by the power of the Holy Spirit. (ref. 2 Corinthians 12:8-10, and Zechariah 4:6) Besides technology interests, Paul has a bachelor of arts degree in economics and accounting, which, by the way, he earned after he had his brain injury. He has a gift in writing (published during a 40 year writing career) and music, which he desires to use to bring God's truth and love to those around him. Through many testings and opportunities, Paul has found that God is ever faithful to His promises:
In all his journeys, he was never alone, God was with him.
She is a visionary and the complete embodiment of the Proverbs 31 wife. Mary Lou can look at a juice bottle and see a folk art chicken or a stack of cardboard and see a dinosaur. An art teacher since 1964 after graduating with a bachelor of science degree in art education, she has used her talent and gift both in schools and churches to bring God's Word and His creation to "life." She sees people the same way: God's great creation and all valuable to the Master. She desires to encourage all she meets to be all they can be. After seeking after the god of money and being sadly disappointed, God brought an itinerant painter to her home, who was an ex-convict and recovered drug addict to tell her that Jesus Christ loved and cared for her. She, along with her husband Paul, have walked a challenging road together as they discovered all the ins and outs and mysteries of brain injury. They learned how doctors, family, friends and churches accepted or rejected them. They have seen success, failure, poverty and plenty. They have seen their own personal sin and the sin of others and how God used it all to make them more like Him. What amazing grace comes from our Lord and God, that we are cleansed by His shed blood and made new by Christ's death on the cross and His resurrection. They have both been comforted by God when most people said "you are a bother ... not worth the time, money or effort." God's compassion and love and mercy kept them going through the dark nights and lonely days. Each step made them more confident that God is faithful and He is more than sufficient in helping them face any and every situation. Mary Lou and Paul have a heart to comfort others, a voice to proclaim that Jesus Christ has saved them, healed them, preserved them, and raised them up to serve Him and others and bring glory to God. |
